Matriarch of our broodmares, Barrabadeen Liberty is stunning and black, standing at 17.1hh. She is a powerful mare with a strong, sporty build, yet still refined and with amazing paces. Her wonderful temperament and sweet nature is characterised by huge kind eyes, which so far she has passed onto all her foals. The sire Talisman was imported by Barrabadeen stud after achieving Vice Champion of his licence year, actually being the first of the Verband performance tested sires to be imported. A producer of talent riding horses that have proven themselves in competition at an elite level. FEI dressage horses and top level jumpers such as BBD Fortune ( exported to the USA) and his full brother BBD Troubadour  who is a Grand Prix dressage horse. Fortune himself went to FEI and also evented, showing a great jumping technique. The dam Barrabadeen Laramah was one of the stud's most prized mares. HSB AWHA & HHAANZ (Mamiro/Little Red)she is a half sister to World Cup Showjumper BBD Tycoon. The sire Mamiro was noted for offspring characterised by exceptional quality of movement and type. In 1997 he was the gold medal winner for the highest pointed foals in Switzerland.
